✅ The best time to book your newborn session

The ideal time to book is during your second or early third trimester — around 20–30 weeks pregnant.

Why that early?

• I only take a limited number of newborns per month to allow flexibility

• Your due date secures your spot, even if baby comes early or late

• It gives us time to chat, plan, and make sure everything feels relaxed
  

📸 The best time to photograph your newborn

The “classic” newborn window is usually between 5 and 14 days old. Why this timeframe?

• Babies are sleepier and more curled up (they remember the womb!)

• They're easier to pose gently and safely

• Skin is often smoother with less baby acne

This is especially helpful if you love natural, simple, sleepy shots.

🍼 What if I missed that window?

Life happens. If your baby is already here and a few weeks old — don’t panic. You can still have a beautiful newborn session. I photographed babies who are:

• 3–5 weeks old: More alert, may stay swaddled, still very tiny

• 6–8 weeks old: More expressive, starting to smile, curious and interactive

You might not get the classic “curled up” photos, but we’ll still capture sweet, meaningful moments, maybe even with eye contact or the tiniest smiles.
